In our mission to provide a faith-filled environment where children grow as disciples of Christ, Saint Scholastica School provides daily faith formation. As a school family we come together for special prayer and seasonal celebrations as well as weekly Mass. Students belong to mixed age Faith Families which plan and attend Mass together. Faith Families also do service projects together with the older students serving as prayer and project leaders for the younger students.
Our academic programs provide opportunities for all students to be challenged to reach their greatest potential. Our sixth, seventh, and eighth graders have a fully equipped science lab to maximize hands on learning. Fifth through eighth graders have the opportunity for an accelerated math program as well.
Saint Scholastica students have access to a library which is updated regularly. Students also have access to information and academic programs in our computer lab. Sixth, seventh, and eighth graders have 1:1 Chromebooks. Fourth and fifth graders have a set of laptops to share. All students have access to a set of surface tablets as well. Technology is integrated into instruction, practice, and assessment for maximum student growth.
In addition to our strong faith and academic programs, Saint Scholastica School families enjoy participating in a variety of extracurricular activities. Those who are musically inclined enjoy choir and band at Saint Scholatica School. Students who enjoy performing can also join the school musical. For children who enjoy being active, Saint Scholastica has athletic teams for volleyball, basketball, track and cross country.
Saint Scholastica School and Parish are a family like no other. For over fifty years the parish has supported the school as a family of faith brought together to provide Catholic education to the next generation of the Church.
